March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb

It’s March!!!!

February passed by in a flash (much to my surprise) and I have to admit, even though lockdown can be tough, there is a sure sign Spring is on its way which makes it just that little bit easier, and with what looks like the easing of restrictions over the next few months I’ve been getting pretty excited about all the very normal things we’ll get to do.

Now I’m aware that when restrictions start to ease, Covid-19 won’t miraculously disappear, but the fact that vaccines have been approved and many of us (including myself, a surprise I know as I don’t look a day over 45) have already been immunised, gives us hope that at some point during the year, we’ll be able to resume business as usual.

The best part of almost spring is the almost spring vegetables. I’ve been spending my days (weather reliant) in the garden. Planting away getting ready! and while they may take a while to grow, we need not despair as Rhubarb, Beets and purple sprouting broccoli are how I love to kick start the season and the main theme of my March menu.

I also want to say a big THANK YOU for all your February orders, it’s been an excellent month and looking forward to continuing doing takeaways throughout the year. With an updated monthly menu and also the option to create a unique custom menu for your occasion.

So, why not celebrate with some good wine. And exquisite food.

My March set menu is perfect – Whether a treat for yourself, a partner, Mother’s Day gift for family or friends there are plenty of ways to beat the Covid 3.0 blues.

Please find attached my takeout menu, happy to take any of your favourites on request.

At last, January is over. Thank goodness!

So, I’m glad it’s over. If January was a trial month, I’d not be subscribing to the rest of the damn year! But I don’t think that’s how it goes though, right? I have high hopes for February being a be

Happy New Year!

New Years Eve seemed very different this year but with the help of sloe gin and plenty of champagne I made it through. Hope you did too... There are tough weeks and months ahead, as we all face an unw
